Rhonda Thomas-Whitley is senior vice president and senior regulatory counsel for the Independent Community Bankers of America® (ϸ¹·ÊÓƵ) where she promotes ϸ¹·ÊÓƵ positions before policymakers and advises ϸ¹·ÊÓƵ community bankers on regulatory and industry matters. Her areas of responsibility include Anti-Money Laundering/Bank Secrecy Act, regulations pertaining to consumer financial protections, payments, data aggregation, cannabis banking, and general compliance.
Prior to joining ϸ¹·ÊÓƵ, Thomas-Whitley was a compliance consultant and manager for Fidelity Integrated Solutions. She also served as assistant director and counsel at the Credit Union National Association and assistant vice president of compliance at Riggs Bank.
Thomas-Whitley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from California State University and her Juris Doctorate from the University of the District of Columbia Law School.
